About Duck Creek
Duck Creek Village is about 30 miles east of Cedar City, on Cedar Mountain.  It is the "Summer Escape" for thousands of Las Vegas based Nevadans, and other desert dwellers from St. George to south-central Arizona.  On the western edge of Kane County, Duck Creek Village identifies itself as Utah's Mountain Retreat" for year round adventure. At an elevation of approximately 8,400 feet, it is the ideal place to build a cabin to get out of the heat!   For cold weather adventure there is snowmobiling and cross country skiing.

The resort community of Duck Creek Village, on Cedar Mountain near Brian Head, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Cedar City, and Kanab, Utah, is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and offers a myriad of recreation activities for all seasons. The village, once a favorite local spot for sheepherders, now serves as a gateway to nearby summer hiking, fishing, camping, biking and a variety of winter activities. The village includes shops and restaurants, lodges, inns, cabin rentals and a campground for the more adventurous overnight guest. Many visitors enjoy this resort so much that they choose to make Duck Creek their permanent home, and there are several subdivisions and large variety of year-round homes from which to choose.
